Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) Program Office
For over a decade, AMTI has supported the FAA's Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) Program Office to develop, integrate, implement, commission and sustain the FAA's Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) and to support the research and development of the Local Area Augmentation System (LAAS). Support tasks include project management, earned value management (EVM) and OMB-300 preparation, as well as systems and software engineering, safety assurance, facilities and contract management and financial planning. With AMTI's support, WAAS has achieved integrated Capability Maturity Model (iCMM) Level 3 in the areas of information management, configuration management, quality assurance, and risk management and currently operates its training and measurement and analysis process areas at FAA-iCMM Capability Level 3.
